|Description||M.HspAI Methyltransferase modifies the internal cytosine residue (C5) in the recognition sequence forming 5`-G(5mC)GC-3`/3`-CG(5mC)G-5`.|
|Unit definition||One unit of the enzyme is the amount required to protect 1 μg
of Lambda DNA in 1 hour at 37°C in a total reaction volume of 20μl against cleavage by HspAI restriction endonuclease.
|Reaction buffer||SE-buffer B + SAM, (10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.6 at 25°C); 10 mM MgCl2; 1 mM DTT + 0,08 mM SAM.|
