A mixture of special plasmid and phage DNAs hydrolyzed by specific enzymes, resulting in 14 fragments suitable for use as molecular weight standards in agarose gel electrophoresis.

Note:
This DNA ladder is not intended for DNA quantification, but can be used for approximate estimation by comparing the intensity of fragments of the same size.
We recommend loading 0.5–1 µg of DNA marker per lane.
Before use, add 1/10 volume of loading buffer with dye to the DNA marker.
The marker with dye can be stored at 4–8°C for up to 6 months.
